Search the FAQ for entries containing:
1. If an individual first becomes covered under another group health plan after the date of COBRA election.
2. The employer terminates all group health plans.
3. The individual fails to make a timely premium payment.
4. When the qualified beneficiary reaches the end of the maximum coverage period (18, 29 or 36 months depending on the qualifying event).

If COBRA is terminated prior to the end of the maximum coverage period, an Early Termination of COBRA notice must be sent.
